Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
Whoever leads the people in prayer intending nothing but to teach them the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ and his Sunnah

Translation
Abu Qilabah reported: Malik ibn al-Huwayrith came to us in this mosque of ours and said, “I will lead you in prayer, though I do not intend (to pray for the sake of) the prayer; I pray as I saw the Prophet ﷺ pray.” (Ayyub said:) So I said to Abu Qilabah, “How did he pray?” He said, “Like this shaykh of ours.” He said: And he was a shaykh who would sit, when he raised his head from the prostration, before getting up in the first rak'ah.
Translator’s note: Malik did not pray because a prayer was due, but to show how the Prophet ﷺ prayed. The question and the last sentence are from Ayyub, Abu Qilabah's student; the shaykh is Amr ibn Salimah.

Soru ve son cümle, Ebû Kılâbe'nin talebesi Eyyûb'a aittir; şeyhten maksat Amr b. Seleme'dir.
