Chapter 3 · Knowledgeمَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَخَوَّلُهُمْ بِالْمَوْعِظَةِ وَالْعِلْمِ كَىْ لاَ يَنْفِرُوا
How the Prophet ﷺ chose intervals for admonishing and teaching them so that they would not turn away
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلاَ تُنَفِّرُوا ".

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ،
Translation
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult; give glad tidings and do not drive (people) away.”
