Chapter 14 · The Two Festivals (Eids)التَّبْكِيرِ إِلَى الْعِيدِ
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ خَطَبَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَالَ " إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا نَبْدَأُ بِهِ فِي يَوْمِنَا هَذَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعَ فَنَنْحَرَ، فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ أَصَابَ سُنَّتَنَا، وَمَنْ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ لَحْمٌ عَجَّلَهُ لأَهْلِهِ، لَيْسَ مِنَ النُّسُكِ فِي شَىْءٍ ". فَقَامَ خَالِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَنَا ذَبَحْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ وَعِنْدِي جَذَعَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مُسِنَّةٍ. قَالَ " اجْعَلْهَا مَكَانَهَا ـ أَوْ قَالَ اذْبَحْهَا ـ وَلَنْ تَجْزِيَ جَذَعَةٌ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ ".

To offer the Eid prayer early
The Prophet (ﷺ) delivered the Khutba on the day of Nahr (`Id-ul-Adha) and said, "The first thing we should do on this day of ours is to pray and then return and slaughter (our sacrifices). So anyone who does so he acted according to our Sunna; and whoever slaughtered before the prayer then it was just meat that he offered to his family and would not be considered as a sacrifice in any way. My uncle Abu Burda bin Niyyar got up and said, "O, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer but I have a young she-goat which is better than an older sheep." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Slaughter it in lieu of the first and such a goat will not be considered as a sacrifice for anybody else after you."

Der Prophet (ﷺ) hielt die Predigt am Tag des Schlachtens (Eid al-Adha) und sagte: "Das Erste, womit wir an diesem unserem Tag beginnen, ist, dass wir beten, dann zurückkehren und schlachten. Wer dies tut, der hat unsere Sunna befolgt. Wer aber schlachtet, bevor er gebetet hat, dessen Opfer ist nur Fleisch, das er für seine Familie vorweggenommen hat, und es zählt in keiner Weise als ein Opferritual (Nusuk)." Da stand mein Onkel Abu Burda ibn Niyyar auf und sagte: "O Gesandter Allahs, ich habe geschlachtet, bevor ich gebetet habe, aber ich habe ein junges Ziegenkalb (Jadh'ah), das besser ist als ein altes Schaf." Er (ﷺ) sagte: "Opfere es an seiner Stelle – oder er sagte: schlachte es – und ein solches junges Ziegenkalb wird nach dir für niemanden mehr genügen."

Nebi (ﷺ), Nahr Günü (Kurban Bayramı) hutbe verdi ve şöyle buyurdu: “Şüphesiz ki, bu günümüzde ilk başlayacağımız şey, namaz kılmamız, sonra dönüp kurban kesmemizdir. Kim böyle yaparsa, sünnetimize uymuş olur. Kim de namazdan önce kurban keserse, o sadece ailesi için acele ettiği bir etten ibarettir; hiçbir şekilde ibadet kurbanı (Nusuk) sayılmaz.” Bunun üzerine amcam Ebu Burde b. Niyyar kalktı ve dedi ki: "Ey Allah’ın Resulü! Ben namazdan önce kestim, ancak benim yaşlı bir koyundan daha hayırlı olan bir ceze'am (genç kurbanlık) var." Resulullah (ﷺ) şöyle buyurdu: "Onu (ilkinin) yerine kes – ya da ‘onu kes’ buyurdu – ve senden sonra hiç kimse için (bu tür) bir ceze'a yeterli olmayacaktır."
