Chapter 14 · The Two Festivals (Eids)كَلاَمِ الإِمَامِ وَالنَّاسِ فِي خُطْبَةِ الْعِيدِ، وَإِذَا سُئِلَ الإِمَامُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَهْوَ يَخْطُبُ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ الْمُعْتَمِرِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ " مَنْ صَلَّى صَلاَتَنَا وَنَسَكَ نُسْكَنَا فَقَدْ أَصَابَ النُّسُكَ، وَمَنْ نَسَكَ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ فَتِلْكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ ". فَقَامَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ نِيَارٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ نَسَكْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَخْرُجَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ، وَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّ الْيَوْمَ يَوْمُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ فَتَعَجَّلْتُ وَأَكَلْتُ وَأَطْعَمْتُ أَهْلِي وَجِيرَانِي. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " تِلْكَ شَاةُ لَحْمٍ ". قَالَ فَإِنَّ عِنْدِي عَنَاقَ جَذَعَةٍ، هِيَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ شَاتَىْ لَحْمٍ، فَهَلْ تَجْزِي عَنِّي قَالَ " نَعَمْ، وَلَنْ تَجْزِيَ عَنْ أَحَدٍ بَعْدَكَ ".

If the Imam is asked about something while he is delivering the Khutba
On the day of Nahr Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) delivered the Khutba after the `Id prayer and said, "Anyone who prayed like us and slaughtered the sacrifice like we did then he acted according to our (Nusuk) tradition of sacrificing, and whoever slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer, then that was just mutton (i.e. not sacrifice)." Abu Burda bin Naiyar stood up and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! By Allah, I slaughtered my sacrifice before I offered the (Id) prayer and thought that today was the day of eating and drinking (nonalcoholic drinks) and so I made haste (in slaughtering) and ate and also fed my family and neighbors." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "That was just mutton (not a sacrifice)." Then Abu Burda said, "I have a young she-goat and no doubt, it is better than two sheep. Will that be sufficient as a sacrifice for me?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes. But it will not be sufficient for anyone else (as a sacrifice), after you."

Musaddad berichtete uns, der sagte, Abu Al-Ahwas berichtete uns, der sagte, Mansur bin Al-Mu'tamir berichtete uns, von Asch-Sha'bi, von Al-Bara' bin 'Azib, der sagte: Der Gesandte Allahs (Friede sei mit ihm) hielt am Tag des Schlachtens (Yawm an-Nahr) nach dem Gebet eine Ansprache (Khutba) und sagte: „Wer so gebetet hat wie wir und sein Opfer dargebracht hat wie wir, der hat das Opfer richtig ausgeführt. Und wer vor dem Gebet geopfert hat, so ist das nur ein Schaf für (gewöhnliches) Fleisch.“ Da stand Abu Burda bin Niyar auf und sagte: „O Gesandter Allahs! Bei Allah, ich habe geopfert, bevor ich zum Gebet aufbrach, denn ich wusste, dass dieser Tag ein Tag des Essens und Trinkens ist, also beeilte ich mich, aß und speiste meine Familie und meine Nachbarn.“ Der Gesandte Allahs (Friede sei mit ihm) sagte: „Das ist nur ein Schaf für Fleisch.“ Abu Burda sagte: „Ich habe jedoch ein junges Zicklein (jadh'ah), das besser ist als zwei Schafe für Fleisch. Genügt es als Opfer für mich?“ Er (der Prophet) sagte: „Ja, aber es wird nach dir für niemanden sonst genügen.“

Müsedded bize rivayet etti, dedi ki: Ebu’l-Ahvas bize rivayet etti, dedi ki: Mansûr İbnu’l-Mu'temir bize, eş-Şa'bi'den, o da el-Berâ İbnu Âzib'den rivayet etti. O (el-Berâ) dedi ki: Resûlullah (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) Kurban Bayramı günü namazdan sonra bize hutbe okudu ve şöyle buyurdu: “Kim bizim namazımızı kılar ve bizim gibi kurban keserse, kurbanı doğru yapmış olur (Nüsuk'a isabet etmiştir). Kim de namazdan önce kurban keserse, o sadece (yemeklik) bir et koyunudur.” Bunun üzerine Ebû Burde İbnu Niyâr ayağa kalktı ve şöyle dedi: “Ey Allah'ın Resûlü! Vallahi, ben namaza çıkmadan önce kurbanımı kestim. Çünkü bugünün yeme ve içme günü olduğunu biliyordum. Bu yüzden acele ettim, hem yedim, hem de aileme ve komşularıma yedirdim.” Allah Resûlü (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) buyurdu: “O sadece (yemeklik) bir et koyunudur.” (Ebû Burde) dedi ki: “Ancak benim yanımda, iki et koyunundan daha hayırlı olan cede‘a (altı aydan bir yaşa kadar genç) bir oğlak var. Bu (kurban olarak) benim için yeterli olur mu?” Resûlullah (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem) buyurdu: “Evet, ama senden sonra hiç kimse için yeterli olmayacaktır.”
