Kapitel 11 · Die Beschreibung des Gebetsالتَّشَهُّدِ فِي الآخِرَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْنَا السَّلاَمُ عَلَى جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَى فُلاَنٍ وَفُلاَنٍ. فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ السَّلاَمُ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ، وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ. فَإِنَّكُمْ إِذَا قُلْتُمُوهَا أَصَابَتْ كُلَّ عَبْدٍ لِلَّهِ صَالِحٍ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ".

Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) sagte: „Wenn wir hinter dem Propheten, Allahs Segen und Frieden auf ihm, beteten, pflegten wir (im Sitzen) zu sagen: ‚Friede sei auf Gabriel und Mikael, Friede sei auf dem und dem.‘ Da wandte sich der Gesandte Allahs, Allahs Segen und Frieden auf ihm, zu uns und sagte: ‚Wahrlich, Allah Selbst ist As-Salam (der Friede). Wenn einer von euch betet, so soll er sprechen: At-Tahiyatu lillahi, wa-s-salawatu, wa-t-taiyibat. As-salamu alaika ayyuha-n-nabiyyu, wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As-salamu alaina wa ala ibadillahi-s-salihin. (Alle Huldigungen, Gebete und guten Dinge gebühren Allah; Friede sei auf dir, oh Prophet, und Allahs Barmherzigkeit und Sein Segen. Friede sei auf uns und auf den rechtschaffenen Dienern Allahs.) Wenn ihr dies sprecht, so erreicht es jeden rechtschaffenen Diener Allahs im Himmel und auf Erden. (Und er soll fortfahren:) Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa Rasuluh. (Ich bezeuge, dass es keine Gottheit [die Anbetung verdient] gibt außer Allah, und ich bezeuge, dass Muhammad Sein Diener und Sein Gesandter ist.)‘“

(Saying of the) Tashah-hud in the last Rak'a
`Abdullah said, "Whenever we prayed behind the Prophet (ﷺ) we used to recite (in sitting) 'Peace be on Gabriel, Michael, peace be on so and so. Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) looked back at us and said, 'Allah Himself is As-Salam (Peace), and if anyone of you prays then he should say, at-Tahiyatu li l-lahi wa ssalawatu wa t-taiyibat. As-salamu `alalika aiyuha n-Nabiyu wa rahmatu l-lahi wa barakatuh. Assalamu `alaina wa `ala `ibadi l-lahi s-salihin. (All the compliments, prayers and good things are due to Allah; peace be on you, O Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings [be on you]. Peace be on us an on the pious subjects of Allah). (If you say that, it will reach all the subjects in the heaven and the earth). Ash-hadu al-la ilaha illa l-lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `Abduhu wa Rasuluh. (I testify that there is no Deity [worthy of worship] but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is His slave and His Apostle).

Abdullah (ibn Mes'ud) şöyle dedi: "Biz Nebi'nin (sav) arkasında namaz kıldığımızda (oturuşta), 'Selam Cibril’e ve Mikaîl’e olsun. Selam falan ve falana olsun' derdik. Bunun üzerine Allah Resûlü (sav) bize dönerek şöyle buyurdu: 'Şüphesiz ki Allah, O es-Selam'dır (kusursuz esenlik sahibidir). Biriniz namaz kıldığı zaman şöyle desin: Et-Tahiyyâtü lillâhi ve's-salavâtü ve't-tayyibâtü. Es-selâmü aleyke eyyühe'n-Nebiyyü ve rahmetüllâhi ve berekâtühü. Es-selâmü aleynâ ve alâ ibâdillâhi's-sâlihîn. (Tüm tâzimler, dualar ve güzel şeyler Allah’a aittir. Selam sana olsun, ey Nebi, Allah’ın rahmeti ve bereketleri de. Selam bize ve Allah'ın sâlih kullarına olsun.) Zira siz bunu söylediğiniz zaman, göklerde ve yerdeki Allah’ın bütün sâlih kullarına ulaşmış olur. (Ve devam etsin:) Eşhedü en lâ ilâhe illallâh ve eşhedü enne Muhammeden abdühû ve Rasûlüh. (Şahitlik ederim ki Allah'tan başka ilah yoktur ve şahitlik ederim ki Muhammed O'nun kulu ve elçisidir.)"
