Chapter 3 · Knowledgeإِثْمِ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
The sin of one who lies about the Prophet ﷺ
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ يَقُلْ عَلَىَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ".

حَدَّثَنَا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ
Translation
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' reported: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “Whoever says about me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire.”
