سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " مَنْ يَقُلْ عَلَىَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ".
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' reported: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “Whoever says about me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire.”
كَانَ جِدَارُ الْمَسْجِدِ عِنْدَ الْمِنْبَرِ مَا كَادَتِ الشَّاةُ تَجُوزُهَا.
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' reported: The wall of the mosque was (so close) to the pulpit that a sheep could hardly pass through.
كُنْتُ آتِي مَعَ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ فَيُصَلِّي عِنْدَ الأُسْطُوَانَةِ الَّتِي عِنْدَ الْمُصْحَفِ. فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا مُسْلِمٍ أَرَاكَ تَتَحَرَّى الصَّلاَةَ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ الأُسْطُوَانَةِ. قَالَ فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَحَرَّى الصَّلاَةَ عِنْدَهَا.
Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd reported: I used to come with Salamah ibn al-Akwa', and he would pray by the pillar that is near the Mushaf. I said, “O Abu Muslim, I see you deliberately seek to pray by this pillar.” He said, “I saw the Prophet ﷺ …
كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ.
Salamah ibn al-Akwa' reported: We used to pray the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet ﷺ when it (the sun) had disappeared behind the screen.
