Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')التَّيَمُّنِ فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَالْغُسْلِ
Starting with the right in ablution and in the ritual bath (ghusl)
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَهُنَّ فِي غُسْلِ ابْنَتِهِ " ابْدَأْنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا ".

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ
Translation
Umm Atiyyah reported: The Prophet ﷺ said to them (the women) concerning the washing of his daughter, “Begin with her right sides and with the parts of her body washed in ablution (wudu).”
Translator’s note: What is meant is the washing of his deceased daughter's body.

Translator’s note: Gemeint ist die Totenwaschung seiner verstorbenen Tochter.

Ümmü Atiyye (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Nebî ﷺ kızının yıkanması hakkında onlara (kadınlara): “Onun sağ taraflarından ve abdest yerlerinden başlayın” buyurdu.
Translator’s note: Vefat eden kızının cenaze yıkaması kastedilmektedir.
