Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')
Pouring water over urine in the mosque

Translation
Abu Hurairah reported: A Bedouin stood up and urinated in the mosque, and the people set upon him. The Prophet ﷺ said to them, “Leave him, and pour a bucket (sajl) of water over his urine – or: a bucket (dhanub) of water. For you have only been sent to make things easy, and you have not been sent to make things difficult.”
Translator’s note: Sajl and dhanub both denote a large bucket filled with water; the narrator was unsure which word was said.

Deutsch
Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.)
