Urinating at the rubbish heap of some people
كَانَ أَبُو مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيُّ يُشَدِّدُ فِي الْبَوْلِ وَيَقُولُ إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَ إِذَا أَصَابَ ثَوْبَ أَحَدِهِمْ قَرَضَهُ. فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ لَيْتَهُ أَمْسَكَ، أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، قَالَ
Translation
Shaqiq ibn Salamah reported: Abu Musa al-Ash'ari was strict regarding urine, and he would say, “Among the Children of Israel, if (urine) struck the garment of one of them, he would cut it off.” Hudhayfah said, “I wish he would refrain. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the rubbish heap of some people and urinated standing.”
Translator’s note: What is meant is the part of the garment struck by the urine. By “I wish he would refrain” Hudhayfah means that Abu Musa should give up this strictness.

Schaqiq ibn Salama berichtete: Abu Musa al-Asch'ari war streng in Bezug auf den Urin und sagte: „Bei den Kindern Israels war es so: Wenn (Urin) das Gewand eines von ihnen traf, schnitt er es ab.“ Da sagte Hudhaifa: „Ich wünschte, er würde sich zurückhalten. Der Gesandte Allahs ﷺ kam zum Abfallhaufen einer Gruppe von Leuten und urinierte im Stehen.“
Translator’s note: Gemeint ist die vom Urin getroffene Stelle des Gewandes. Mit „Ich wünschte, er würde sich zurückhalten“ meint Hudhaifa, dass Abu Musa diese Strenge lassen sollte.

Şakîk b. Seleme şöyle rivayet etti: Ebû Mûsâ el-Eş'arî (r.a.) idrar konusunda çok titiz davranır ve şöyle derdi: “İsrâiloğullarından birinin elbisesine (idrar) değdiğinde onu keserdi.” Bunun üzerine Huzeyfe (r.a.) şöyle dedi: “Keşke bundan vazgeçse! Resûlullah ﷺ bir kavmin çöplüğüne geldi ve ayakta idrarını yaptı.”
Translator’s note: Elbisenin idrar değen kısmı kastedilir. Huzeyfe “Keşke bundan vazgeçse” sözüyle Ebû Mûsâ'nın bu aşırı titizliği bırakmasını kastetmektedir.
