Chapter 5 · Bathing (Ghusl)
Sahih

When one has intercourse and then repeats it, and one who goes round to his wives with a single ritual bath (ghusl)

Translation

Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir reported: I mentioned it to Aishah, and she said, “May Allah have mercy on Abu Abd ar-Rahman! I used to perfume the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he would go round to his wives, then in the morning he would be in ihram, exuding perfume.”

Translator’s note: Abu Abd ar-Rahman is Ibn Umar. What is meant is his statement that he did not want to be in ihram while exuding perfume. “Going round to his wives” means that he had marital relations with them.

Deutsch

Muhammed b. Münteşir şöyle rivayet etti: Bunu Âişe'ye (r.a.) anlattım. Şöyle dedi: “Allah Ebû Abdurrahman'a rahmet etsin! Ben Resûlullah'a ﷺ güzel koku sürerdim.
