Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir reported: I asked Aishah and mentioned to her the saying of Ibn Umar, “I would not like to be in ihram in the morning, exuding perfume.” Aishah said, “I perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he went round to his wives, then in the morning he was in ihram.”
Translator’s note: “Going round to his wives” means that he had marital relations with them.
