Chapter 5 · Bathing (Ghusl)
Sahih

One who pours with his right hand onto his left in the ritual bath (ghusl)

Translation

Maymunah reported: I put out water for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the ritual bath (ghusl) and screened him. He poured (water) over his hand and washed it once or twice – Sulayman said: I do not know whether he mentioned the third time or not – then he poured with his right hand onto his left and washed his private parts. Then he rubbed his hand on the ground or on the wall. Then he rinsed his mouth and drew water into his nose, washed his face and his hands, and washed his head. Then he poured (water) over his body. Then he moved aside and washed his feet. I handed him a piece of cloth, but he gestured with his hand like this and did not want it.

Deutsch

Meymûne (r.a.)

Translator’s note: Süleyman, bu rivayetin râvilerinden A'meş'tir.
