Chapter 5 · Bathing (Ghusl)
Sahih

The one in a state of janabah goes out and walks in the market and elsewhere

Translation

Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to go round to his wives in a single night, and at that time he had nine wives.

Translator’s note: Marital intercourse is meant. The chapter heading infers from this that one may go out in a state of janabah before taking the ritual bath (ghusl).

Other translations

Deutsch

Enes b. Mâlik (r.a.), Allah'ın Nebîsi'nin ﷺ bir gecede hanımlarını dolaştığını, o gün dokuz hanımı bulunduğunu rivayet etti.

Translator’s note: Kastedilen, eşlerle cinsel birlikteliktir. Bab başlığı bundan, cünüp kimsenin gusletmeden önce dışarı çıkabileceği sonucunu çıkarır.
