إِذَا لَمْ يُتِمَّ السُّجُودَ

When one does not complete the prostration

رَأَى رَجُلاً لاَ يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهُ وَلاَ سُجُودَهُ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلاَتَهُ قَالَ لَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ مَا صَلَّيْتَ ـ قَالَ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ ـ لَوْ مُتَّ مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ سُنَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Translation

Shaqiq ibn Salamah reported that Hudhayfah saw a man who did not complete his bowing and his prostration. When he had finished his prayer, Hudhayfah said to him, “You have not prayed.” – He said: And I think he said: – “If you had died (like this), you would have died upon other than the Sunnah of Muhammad ﷺ.”
