Zakat is part of Islam

Translation

Talhah ibn Ubaydullah reported: A man from the people of Najd came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with dishevelled hair. The hum of his voice could be heard, but what he was saying could not be understood until he came near, and then he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Five prayers in the day and the night.” He said, “Is anything else obligatory on me?” He said, “No, unless you do it voluntarily.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “And fasting Ramadan.” He said, “Is anything else obligatory on me?” He said, “No, unless you do it voluntarily.” (Talhah) said: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Zakat to him. He said, “Is anything else obligatory on me?” He said, “No, unless you do it voluntarily.” (Talhah) said: Then the man turned away, saying, “By Allah, I will neither add to this nor take anything away from it.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “He has succeeded if he is truthful.”

Talha b. Ubeydullah (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Necid halkından, saçı başı dağınık bir adam Resûlullah'a ﷺ geldi.
