Chapter 2 · Belief
Following funerals is part of faith

Translation
Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim out of faith (iman) and seeking reward, and stays with it until the prayer is performed over it and its burial is completed, returns with two qirats of reward, each qirat like (Mount) Uhud. And whoever prays over it and then returns before it is buried returns with one qirat.”
Translator’s note: Qirat: a unit of measure; here for a great amount of reward.

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.)
