The mosques on the roads of Madinah

Translation

Ibn Umar reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to halt beneath a huge sarhah tree short of ar-Ruwaythah, on the right of the road and facing the road, in a flat, level place, until one comes out from a hillock about two miles short of the post station of ar-Ruwaythah. Its top has broken off and bent down into its hollow, and it stands on a trunk, and at its trunk are many sand heaps.

Translator’s note: Sarhah: a large, shady desert tree.

Deutsch
