Praying towards a short spear
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا خَرَجَ لِحَاجَتِهِ تَبِعْتُهُ أَنَا وَغُلاَمٌ وَمَعَنَا عُكَّازَةٌ أَوْ عَصًا أَوْ عَنَزَةٌ وَمَعَنَا إِدَاوَةٌ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ حَاجَتِهِ نَاوَلْنَاهُ الإِدَاوَةَ.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَاذَانُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ
Translation
Anas ibn Malik reported: When the Prophet ﷺ went out to relieve himself, I and a boy would follow him, and we would have with us an iron-tipped staff or a stick or a short spear, and we would have with us a leather vessel of water. When he had finished relieving himself, we would hand him the leather vessel of water.

Anas ibn Malik berichtete: Wenn der Prophet ﷺ hinausging, um seine Notdurft zu verrichten, folgten ich und ein Junge ihm, und wir hatten einen Stock mit Eisenspitze oder einen Stab oder einen kurzen Speer bei uns, und wir hatten einen ledernen Wasserbehälter bei uns. Wenn er mit seiner Notdurft fertig war, reichten wir ihm den ledernen Wasserbehälter.

Enes b. Mâlik (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Nebî ﷺ ihtiyacını gidermek için çıktığında ben ve bir genç onun arkasından giderdik. Yanımızda ucu demirli bir değnek ya da bir asa ya da bir anaze bulunur, bir de matara bulunurdu. İhtiyacını giderdiğinde ona matarayı verirdik.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدْخُلُ الْخَلاَءَ، فَأَحْمِلُ أَنَا وَغُلاَمٌ إِدَاوَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ، وَعَنَزَةً، يَسْتَنْجِي بِالْمَاءِ.
Anas ibn Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the toilet, I and a boy would carry a leather vessel of water and a short spear. He would clean himself with the water.
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا تَبَرَّزَ لِحَاجَتِهِ أَتَيْتُهُ بِمَاءٍ فَيَغْسِلُ بِهِ.
Anas ibn Malik reported: When the Prophet ﷺ went out to relieve himself, I would bring him water and he would wash himself with it.
