Sahih

The time of the Zuhr prayer when the sun passes the meridian

Translation

Abu Barzah reported: The Prophet ﷺ used to pray the dawn prayer when one of us could recognize the person sitting next to him, and he would recite in it between sixty and a hundred (verses). He would pray the Zuhr prayer when the sun had passed the meridian, and the Asr prayer when one of us could (afterwards) go to the farthest end of Madinah and return while the sun was still bright – and I have forgotten what he said about the Maghrib prayer – and he did not mind delaying the Isha prayer until a third of the night. Then he said: until half of the night.

Translator’s note: “I have forgotten …” and “Then he said: …” are the words of the narrator Abu al-Minhal about Abu Barzah.

Ebû Berze (r.a.)

Translator’s note: “Unuttum …” ve “Sonra … dedi” sözleri, râvi Ebü'l-Minhâl'in Ebû Berze hakkındaki sözleridir.
