Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُنَادِي
What one says on hearing the caller
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ النِّدَاءَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ ما يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ".

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ،
Translation
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “When you hear the call, say the like of what the caller to prayer says.”
