Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
Sahih

How much time is between the adhan and the iqamah, and one who waits for the iqamah

Translation

Anas ibn Malik reported: When the caller to prayer had called the adhan, some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ would stand and hasten to the pillars until the Prophet ﷺ came out, while they were thus praying the two rak'ahs before the Maghrib prayer; and there was nothing (long) between the adhan and the iqamah. Uthman ibn Jabalah and Abu Dawud said, from Shu'bah: There was only a little between them.

Deutsch

Mâlik (r.a.)
