Chapter 10 · Call to Prayers (Adhaan)
Whoever waits for the iqamah

Translation
Aishah reported: When the caller to prayer fell silent after the first (call) of the Fajr prayer, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would stand up and pray two light rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer, after the dawn had become clear. Then he would lie down on his right side until the caller to prayer came to him for the iqamah.
Translator’s note: The first (call) is the adhan, as distinct from the iqamah.
