Chapter 3 · Knowledge
One who repeats what he says three times so that he is understood

Translation
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ lagged behind on a journey we made. Then he caught up with us when the prayer – the Asr prayer – was already pressing upon us, and we were performing ablution (wudu). We began (merely) wiping over our feet. So he called out at the top of his voice: “Woe to the heels from the Fire!” – twice or three times.
Translator’s note: That is, the feet were not fully washed and the heels remained dry.

Deutsch
Abdullah b. Amr (r.a.)
