Chapter 4 · Ablutions (Wudu')
Sahih

Using the leftover water from people's ablution

Translation

As-Sa'ib ibn Yazid reported: My maternal aunt took me to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, my sister's son is ill.” He wiped my head and prayed for blessing for me. Then he performed ablution (wudu), and I drank from his ablution water. Then I stood behind his back and looked at the seal of prophethood between his shoulders, like the button of a bridal canopy.

Translator’s note: The comparison “like the button of a bridal canopy” is interpreted in different ways; according to another interpretation, a partridge's egg is meant.

Deutsch

Yezîd (r.a.)
