The (funeral) prayer over a woman in postnatal bleeding and its sunnah
أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَكُونُ حَائِضًا لاَ تُصَلِّي، وَهْىَ مُفْتَرِشَةٌ بِحِذَاءِ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى خُمْرَتِهِ، إِذَا سَجَدَ أَصَابَنِي بَعْضُ ثَوْبِهِ.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ـ اسْمُهُ الْوَضَّاحُ ـ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ خَالَتِي، مَيْمُونَةَ ـ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
Translation
Maymunah reported that when she was menstruating and not praying, she would lie stretched out alongside the place of prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he prayed on his small mat. When he prostrated, part of his garment would touch me.
Translator’s note: The small mat (khumrah) is woven from palm leaves and just large enough for the face and hands in prostration.

Maimuna berichtete, dass sie, wenn sie ihre Menstruation hatte und nicht betete, ausgestreckt neben dem Gebetsplatz des Gesandten Allahs ﷺ zu liegen pflegte, während er auf seiner kleinen Gebetsmatte betete. Wenn er sich niederwarf, berührte mich ein Teil seines Gewandes.
Translator’s note: Die kleine Gebetsmatte (Chumra) ist aus Palmblättern geflochten und gerade groß genug für Gesicht und Hände bei der Niederwerfung.

Meymûne (r.a.), hayızlı olup namaz kılmadığı zamanlarda Resûlullah'ın ﷺ secde yerinin hizasında uzanıp yattığını, onun da küçük seccadesi üzerinde namaz kıldığını rivayet etti: Secde ettiğinde elbisesinin bir kısmı bana değerdi.
Translator’s note: Küçük seccade (humra), hurma yaprağından örülür ve secdede yüz ile ellerin sığacağı kadar büyüklüktedir.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ نَائِمَةٌ، فَإِذَا سَجَدَ أَصَابَنِي ثَوْبُهُ، وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ.
Maymunah reported: The Prophet ﷺ used to pray while I was sleeping beside him. When he prostrated, his garment touched me, while I was menstruating.
