Chapter 8 · Prayers (Salat)
May one say “the mosque of Banu so-and-so”?

Translation
Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ held a race between the horses that had been conditioned (for racing), from al-Hafya', and their finishing point was Thaniyyat al-Wada'; and he held a race between the horses that had not been conditioned, from the Thaniyyah to the mosque of Banu Zurayq; and that Abdullah ibn Umar was among those who raced in it.
Translator’s note: The horses were first fed well and then kept on short rations until they were lean and enduring. Al-Hafya', Thaniyyat al-Wada' and the mosque of Banu Zurayq are places in and near Madinah.
