Chapter 3 · Knowledgeقَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ "
The saying of the Prophet ﷺ: “O Allah, teach him the Book.”
ضَمَّنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ ".

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ
Translation
Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ hugged me to himself and said, “O Allah, teach him the Book.”
