Kapitel 20 · Das Nachtgebetصَلاَةِ الضُّحَى فِي السَّفَرِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ تَوْبَةَ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَتُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَ لاَ. قُلْتُ فَعُمَرُ. قَالَ لاَ. قُلْتُ فَأَبُو بَكْرٍ. قَالَ لاَ. قُلْتُ فَالنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لاَ إِخَالُهُ.

Muwarriq berichtete: Ich fragte Ibn Umar (möge Allah mit beiden zufrieden sein): „Verrichtest du das Duha-Gebet?“ Er antwortete: „Nein.“ Ich fragte weiter: „Und (was ist mit) Umar?“ Er erwiderte: „Nein.“ Ich fragte: „Und Abu Bakr?“ Er sagte: „Nein.“ Ich fragte: „Und der Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)?“ Er antwortete: „Ich glaube es nicht.“

To offer the Salat-ud-Duha in journey
"Do you offer the Duha prayer?" He replied in the negative. I further asked, "Did `Umar use to pray it?" He (Ibn `Umar) replied in the negative. I again asked, "Did Abu Bakr رضی اللہ عنہ use to pray it?" He replied in the negative. I again asked, "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) use to pray it?" Ibn `Umar replied, "I don't think he did."

Muvarrık şöyle dedi: İbn Umar’a (Allah onlardan razı olsun) sordum: “Kůşluk namazını kılıyor musun?” O, “HAYIR” dedi. Ben: “Peki ya Ömer?” diye sordum. O, “HAYIR” dedi. Ben: “Peki ya Ebu Bekir?” diye sordum. O, “HAYIR” dedi. Ben: “Peki ya Allah’ın Elçisi (صلى الله عليه وسلم)?” diye sordum. O, “Sanmıyorum [öyle olduğuna inanmıyorum]” diye cevap verdi.
