Sahih

One who performs ablution in (the bath for) janabah, then washes the rest of his body and does not wash the places of ablution again

Translation

Maymunah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ put out water for washing on account of janabah. He tipped (water) with his right hand onto his left, twice or three times. Then he washed his private parts. Then he struck his hand on the ground – or the wall – twice or three times. Then he rinsed his mouth and drew water into his nose and washed his face and his forearms. Then he poured the water over his head. Then he washed his body. Then he moved aside and washed his feet. She said: I brought him a piece of cloth, but he did not want it, and he began to shake (the water) off with his hand.

Translator’s note: Janabah: the state of major ritual impurity, e.g. after intercourse or ejaculation.
