Chapter 5 · Bathing (Ghusl)
Screening oneself from people during the ritual bath (ghusl)

Translation
Maymunah reported: I screened the Prophet ﷺ while he was taking the ritual bath (ghusl) for janabah. He washed his hands, then poured with his right hand onto his left and washed his private parts and whatever had touched him. Then he wiped his hand on the wall or the ground. Then he performed his ablution (wudu) as for the prayer, except for his feet. Then he poured the water over his body. Then he moved aside and washed his feet.
Translator’s note: “The wall or the ground” marks a narrator's uncertainty about the wording.

Meymûne (r.a.)
