Praying in a red garment

Translation

Abu Juhayfah reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a red domed tent of leather. And I saw Bilal take the water of ablution (wudu) of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I saw the people hastening to that ablution water. Whoever got some of it wiped himself with it, and whoever did not get any of it took some of the moisture from his companion's hand. Then I saw Bilal take a short spear and plant it (in the ground). The Prophet ﷺ came out in a red garment, with it tucked up, and led the people in two rak'ahs of prayer facing the short spear. And I saw the people and the animals passing in front of the short spear.

Translator’s note: The garment (hullah) consists of two pieces, an upper and a lower wrap.

Ebû Cühayfe (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Resûlullah'ı ﷺ deriden yapılmış kırmızı bir kubbe çadırda gördüm. Bilâl'in (r.a.)
